We hope that you all had an amazing summer! It is that time of year and we are needing your help.
We will be holding our annual board member election meeting Wednesday October 28th, at 7:00pm in our field clubhouse located at 1728 W A St. Please feel free to drive up and park around the building the door is on the back of the building.
This is an important election meeting, which is open to all, regardless of your level of interest of helping out for the 2027 season. This is your chance to let your voice be heard if you feel that there are areas of Pasco Little League that need to be supported or addressed for the 2027 season. Your input is valuable and we encourage you to attend!
Your contribution can take up very little TIME, but can make a HUGE impact for the boys and girls that benefit from our program.
Last year we had an AMAZING board of parents/volunteers that were supporting over 650 Little Leaguers with the addition of Softball! As with every year we have members that will not be coming back as their child ages out. So we need great parents like you to step up and help make each year more successful than the last.
Please consider joining our team as we need great parents like you to support our players!
ALL board positions are up for re-election. The positions are as follows with a brief description:
**President- Conducts the affairs of the Local League and executes the policies established by the Board of Directors.
**Vice-President- Performs the duties of the President in their absence. Coordinates the try-out process and practice fields.
**Vice-President of Softball- Oversees the Softball Division.
**Safety officer- Responsible to create awareness and provide a safe environment of Little League Baseball.
**Treasurer- Performs duties as set forth customarily to the Office of Treasurer
**Secretary- Records the activities of the Local League and maintains appropriate files.
**Umpire-in-Chief- Represents the umpires in league-schedules all umpiring for games during season.
**Registrar- Oversees all player registrations, maintains files, and assures compliance with Little League Rules.
**Information Officer- Maintains League’s website, Facebook and email correspondence.
**Coaching Coordinator- Represents coaches/managers in the league.
**Player Agents (one per division preferably) - Assists the President with age and residence verification, conducts try outs and helps with draft, verifies pitch count and eligibility during the season.
**Tournament Director- Coordinates the use of PNLL fields for tournaments.
**All Star Coordinator- Coordinates the all star process including nominations, voting, tournament registration etc.
**Field Maintenance Coordinators- Coordinates the maintenance of the 7 fields/in charge of field and player equipment.
We encourage all of you to consider spending a little bit of your time to help make our program the best it can be for our Pasco kids. We strongly encourage all PNLL parents who can to come out and see what exciting things we can accomplish together in 2027!
