6 months without you here. I miss you so so much! Celebrating first mothers day with you in heaven is hard but I know you are celebrating with me. I hear your messages and I feel you with me all of the time. I am so blessed that He chose me to be your mom. You taught me more than I ever taught you. I love you monkey! ❤️

While this is absolutely the hardest thing… I find comfort in knowing that cailey is finally pain free and cancer free. It makes my heart happy to know exactly where she is and who she is celebrating with. She is here all of the time and that will never change. She knows. I know. We know. Love you monkey!

Cailey was beautifully celebrated yesterday. Just to say thank you doesn’t seem like enough. The love that we have felt through all of this has been so heartfelt. The support we have had is nothing short of amazing. So thank you all for the flowers and prayers and messages and sharing of memories. A big shout out to class of 2019! Cailey is blessed to have a group of peers like y’all in her corner! Keep the prayers coming as we try to navigate our world with her watching down on us. ❤️❤️❤️❤️🦋🦋🦋🦋

Update on my girl
Cailey had a stroke early this morning. We have been told she will probably not recover from it and she will be whole again soon. All of your thoughts and prayers are so greatly appreciated. ❤️🙏🏻

Quick update on my girl…
1. Let me just say that this sucks. Watching her decline is hard.
2. She has confusion and is having a hard time expressing what she wants to say. She knows what she wants to say but a lot of times it’s random words.
3. She’s not eating or drinking a lot sometimes not at all
4. It takes help to get her up. She cannot use the right side.
5. We were told it will start to get a little worse with disease progression in upcoming weeks. She will more than likely sleep a lot more. Right now it’s strictly wheelchair when she gets up.
With all of that being said she is not in ANY pain! Her pain meds are working beautifully! For that we are so grateful! We have an amazing hospice team and they are family forever! We are very blessed! Keep those prayers coming! We will update again soon! Be blessed!

I read this from another mother. I thought it was a perfect description and wanted to share.
An aching body is a container for the perfect soul.
That is so true. Cailey is a perfect soul ❤️. Continuing her fight with such grace. Keep the prayers coming we feel them all!

Cailey asked me to post a while back to let our prayer warriors know that she still very much has a fighting spirit but she is declining. She cannot get up and down by herself and cannot use the right side of her body that well. She is pretty dependent on a wheelchair and sometimes a walker. Continue to pray for her as her letting go of her independence has been hard on her. She is a fighter and her stubbornness is something we admire! She appreciates all of your support and well wishes. We appreciate all of your prayers as well!! Thank you all ! We will update again soon. She would like privacy while she navigates what she is dealing with. Thank you all! We really appreciate you!
