Sarahs House The Mission of Sarah’s House is to be a community resource and safely bring victims of domestic violence and homelessness towards self-sufficiency.

These individuals have found themselves in the frightening position of having no safe place to sleep or eat and few options for immediate assistance available. Since its founding, Sarah’s House has provided real time help to many homeless, unemployed, or underemployed single women or women with children.

​There is no situation more frightening, dangerous and seemingly hopeless for a woman than to be alone on the streets of a large metropolitan area with no place to go. The challenges facing a mother with children to care for is even direr.

and Chato Woodard, Plumbers Union President, for taking the time to tour and learn more about our work.

We’re especially grateful to Chato Woodard for his generous $5,000 donation and to Councilman Dow for making the introductions and playing an instrumental role in helping make that gift possible.

💜 Domestic violence often happens behind closed doors but support for survivors should never be hidden.

This Domestic Violence Awareness Month, join New Beginnings – Sarah’s House in making that support visible through the Purple Ribbon Project.

As a thank-you for your donation:

💜 Donate $50 and receive one purple yard ribbon.

Join us for Swing Fore Sarah’s House,
