Past Exalted Ruler Association -Purple Pig Event

What a squealing good time we had on Tuesday, July 15, with the Purple Pig Races!

We held contests for the Prettiest Pig and the Portliest Pig. The winner of the Prettiest Pig was Carrie Vasquez, recognized for her feathery pig, and the Portliest Pig winner was Esme Gibson, whose pig weighed in at over 6 pounds.

It was a fun evening, reconnecting with old friends and making new ones! Thank you to everyone who attended and participated. The money raised will be donated to the PER Association and Major Projects.

Greetings from Kansas City, Mo! ER, Wayne Hammack and Loyal Knight, Nicole Hammack had the honor of meeting and extending a personal invitation to Grand Exalted Ruler-Elect, Bryan R. Klatt to visit our beautiful Pasadena Elks Lodge 672 this December at our various Rose Parade events and Grands Dinner Dance.

This Sunday, June 15th, we celebrated Father’s Day with a special BBQ at the Pasadena Elks! The day began with a heartfelt ceremony honoring fathers in the Lodge Room, followed by a delicious BBQ and live music by Eric Ekstrand. All dads enjoyed a complimentary meal as a small token of our appreciation. Thank you to everyone who volunteered and joined us to celebrate the amazing fathers in our lives!

On June 14, Pasadena Elks No. 672 honored our veterans and the US Flag with a heartfelt Flag Day Veterans Luncheon. Guests enjoyed a delicious meal, a moving flag history presentation, and a solemn flag retirement ceremony led Boy Scout Troop 131. The event was made even more special with performances by our talented pianist, Eric Ekstrand, a stirring bagpiper, and two buglers. Thank you to all who volunteered, joined us and helped celebrate our nation’s symbol and those who served under it.
