📣 Know of a 5/6 girl who might like to give basketball a try?⛹️‍♀️ Our 5/6 girls division could use ONE more girl to enable us to move players off the waitlist and round out a final team!

If interested, sign up for the waitlist via the link below, and the first to do so will be moved to active status. Questions should be directed to [email protected]. Reminder, any registrants on the waitlist that we are unable to accommodate will receive a refund in full.

Other divisions will hear word as our County teams are finalized. We appreciate your patience as we attempt to get over 850 players hooping!🏀

🏀FINAL weekend to register for the winter 2026-2027 season! Multiple divisions have reached capacity and are on waitlist status. We'll notify participants if spots are available after registration closes.

Divisions that include high school age players (13/14 & 15/17 boys Intramural, and County 14U and up) will remain open through high school Mid-Nov cuts.

Lake Shore Basketball is in need of a 7/8 Boys Intramural Division Director!🏀📋

Candidates must be able to oversee 7/8 evaluations, run a draft, and manage coaches within the division. The Director should be a strong communicator, promptly respond to messages, and serve as a liaison between coaches and the league. Preferably, the Director is not a coach within the division. This is a volunteer role. Interested candidates should email us at [email protected].

🚨REGISTRATION for the 2026-2027 winter season is underway!🏀

Please note, as one of the largest leagues in the county - last season we had over 800 Intramural & County players - divisions will go to waitlist status once an age group is at capacity. We must cap divisions based on our gym availability. Early registration is highly encouraged!

In accordance with AACO Recreation & Parks, division placement is based on a child’s age as of 9/1/26. This makes age groups school grade appropriate. The system will automatically place your child in the correct age group. Altering birthdates could result in expulsion from the league, and we reserve the right to request copies of birth certificates as needed.

The last of Chesapeake Girls Basketball’s “Sizzlin’ Summer Nights” clinic series drew to a close last night with the “Dog Days of Summer” theme.

What a fun summer it’s been! We absolutely love the connection between Chesapeake and our feeder league! Girls basketball is booming in our hometown!😊⛹️‍♀️See you on the court!
