A Golden Moment at the Rose Bowl 🏅

On August 11, 1984, the Rose Bowl hosted the Olympic men’s soccer gold medal match as France faced Brazil in front of a record 101,799 fans.

Congratulations to Keyshawn Johnson on being inducted into the California High School Football Hall of Fame Class of 2026🏈

After an outstanding career at Dorsey High School in Los Angeles, Johnson went on to star at USC, where he earned All-American honors before being selected first overall in the 1996 NFL Draft. During his 11-year NFL career, he was a three-time Pro Bowler, won Super Bowl ###VII with the Tampa Bay Buccaneers, and became the first player in NFL history to record at least 60 receptions in each of his first 10 seasons, cementing his place among California football’s all-time greats.

Selected second overall in the 1997 NFL Draft by the Oakland Raiders, he brought his strength and athleticism to the NFL, becoming one of the league’s most impactful defensive tackles.
