Burnout/Compassion Fatigue is REAL. 🐚 THE CARERS IS BACK NEXT TUESDAY. This free peer wellness group is for anyone who cares for others.

In this session, we will identify the symptoms of burnout/compassion fatigue for each of us.

The Carers is a peer wellness group for Pan Asian caregivers, community leaders, organizers, and helping professionals in the diaspora wanting to tend to our own needs and plant roots in a supportive community that nourishes us. We welcome those of us who carry visible or invisible labor for our families and communities. The group will incorporate Expressive Arts, somatic and traditional healing, and open sharing.
Join us bi-weekly on Tuesday @ 5 - 6 pm Pacific to exhale and let go of what you’ve been holding on to while taking in communal nourishment to sustain you.

You must be 18+ to join this group. Sign up for all groups here: luma.com/amhp-thecarers

⚡️Topic: Q***r Joy as Wellness
⚡️When: Wednesday, 6.3.26 at 5:30 PST/8:30PM EST

*Q***r Joy as Wellness* is a reflective workshop that explores joy as a meaningful practice of care, grounding, and resilience.
Rather than framing wellness as the absence of pain, this space invites participants to notice and cultivate moments of safety, connection, and authentic expression in everyday life. Through gentle grounding exercises, reflection, and discussion, participants are supported in reconnecting with their own sources of joy as a way of strengthening internal and communal wellbeing.

THE CARERS IS BACK NEXT TUESDAY. This free peer wellness group is for anyone who cares for others.

This session will challenge our tendency to put the needs of others before our own and explore ways to do so authentically and sustainably.

Asian Mental Health Project - 2025 Call for Stay In, Check-In Facilitators 💙

We are looking for facilitators to lead our weekly Stay In, Check-In sessions, which take place every Wednesday at 5:30 PM PST / 8:30 PM EST and run for approximately 1.5 hours.

We are prioritizing applications from mental health professionals, behavioral health specialists, racial justice practitioners, certified health and wellness practitioners, occupational therapists, and physical therapists.
Facilitators have the flexibility to discuss topics of their choice. Previous sessions have covered subjects such as coping with racial trauma, active muscle relaxation, and balancing work and life.

Ideally, facilitators are licensed mental health practitioners or currently pursuing licensure. However, if you have valuable expertise in the wellness and health space that you’d like to share, we’d love to hear from you!

Navigating modern dating and romantic relationships

With the endless array of dating apps at our disposal, you would think modern dating would be much easier (spoiler alert: it’s not.) Between conflicting attachment styles, ghosting, and steering clear of anyone with yellow fever, dating often feels exhausting, tedious, and downright impossible.

Join us on Monday, May 18, when we’ll chat about modern dating, q***r dating, dating safety, and dating advice for the girls, g**s, and theys.

⚡️Topic: Returning to Safety: Somatic Stabilization for Sexual Trauma Survivors
⚡️When: Wednesday, 4.13.26 at 5:30 PST/8:30PM EST

Returning to Safety: Somatic Stabilization for Sexual Trauma Survivors is a trauma-informed, skills-based workshop focused on helping survivors gently stabilize the nervous system in the present moment—without retelling or revisiting details of what happened. Participants will learn a clear map of common post-trauma states (activation, shutdown, and mixed states) and practice specialized somatic tools that support grounding, containment, and reconnection to choice. All practices are optional, paced, and designed to help participants “come back online” when triggered, overwhelmed, or disconnected.
