In an environment of love, care and hope, Villa Esperanza Services provides the tools and support necessary for children, adults and seniors with special needs to achieve their goals, live fulfilling lives and embrace a sense of belonging and acceptance. Villa serves individuals with developmental disabilities inclu

ding more than twenty different diagnoses. Our wide variety of programs and services assist infants to seniors in addition to providing support and encouragement to their families. We change lives—from teaching a child with autism how to say “hello;” to giving an adult with Down syndrome the skills to earn a paycheck and the pride of having a job; to providing an intellectually disabled senior the opportunity to give back to the community through volunteering and helping others. Our customized and comprehensive programs for children centralized on a single campus:

• Occupational therapy clinic
• Behavioral therapy
• Early intervention services

Our personalized programs for adults integrated throughout the community:
• Employment services
• Family-style residential homes
• Independent living apartments
• Independent living skills coaching
• Community-integrated skills training
• Day programs for adults and seniors

As a non-profit organization, Villa serves more than 600 individuals and their families each year in Los Angeles and Ventura counties. Since 1961 we have been a leader in advocating and advancing services for the developmentally disabled community. Villa excels in offering progressive and innovative approaches and solutions. Our ability to forecast and meet the changing needs of our clients has established us as a unique service provider, offering individualized programs and a continuum of care over the course of a lifetime.

☀️🎉 Summer Fun, Villa Style! 🎉☀️

The Villa's Community Integration Program (CIP) celebrated summer with a Disney-themed party filled with laughter, music, and plenty of fun! 💙

A huge shout-out to one of our CIP families who came to celebrate in true Star Wars style, dressed as Stormtroopers! ⭐️🪐We love when our families join in and make these special moments even more memorable.

The celebration also included a delicious homemade lunch, prepared by one of our amazing CIP staff members, followed by games and activities run by staff as well; from freeze dance and karaoke to musical chairs, there was no shortage of fun! 🎤🎶🪑

We’re so grateful for the CIP team, the individuals we serve, and the families who make days like this so special. Summer memories are even sweeter when we celebrate together! 💙☀️

🌟 What an incredible day at Villa Esperanza Services Dimensions Adult Day Program! Last Friday, they celebrated with an enchanted-themed prom that truly brought magic to everyone’s hearts. Our amazing persons served dressed to impress, ready to dance and enjoy the festivities. The day was filled with music galore, and everyone had a blast in the photo booth, capturing joyful memories! 📸✨

The stunning decorations, all handmade by our talented program staff, transformed the space into a magical wonderland. Everyone worked so hard the day before to make it perfect!

They crowned the regal King and Queen of Dimensions Day Program, enjoyed a delicious buffet, and danced the day away! 💖🎉

Congratulations to John, a Villa employee, on successfully completing the County of Ventura Board of Supervisors 2025-2026 Leadership Program and for the promotion to Program Associate Administrator for our Ventura County Employment Services! 🎉✨

Here's what he shared about his experience: "My biggest takeaway is understanding how vital business and community roles are across the Conejo Valley. Seeing it from both the outside and inside gave me a new perspective on how we all support and contribute to our local communities."

Celebrating 65 years of incredible service to our community was truly unforgettable! Our campus was filled with energy, laughter, and connection as guests enjoyed fun interactive games hosted by Villa's programs, adorable animals at the petting zoo, and delicious food. Everyone had a fantastic time connecting and making memories.

We were honored to have a few legislator representatives stop by and share heartfelt words in our honor — thank you to Xalma Palomino, District Representative Office of Senator Sasha Renée Pérez, Declan Floyd, District Director Assemblymember John Harabedian and Taylor Spira, Assemblymember Steve Bennett's office for your support and encouragement!

A huge shoutout to for the amazing surround sound, for the fun keepsakes, for the animal therapy, for providing essential information and for the delicious catering.

Last week Villa's adult Community Integration Program (CIP) participants spent the day volunteering at Art Trek in Thousand Oaks and had a wonderful time! These opportunities are fantastic for building life skills, fine motor development, problem-solving, self-expression, and the kind of easy, natural social interaction that can sometimes be hard to find. Our participants continue showing up as valued members of our community, volunteering, contributing, and thriving! 🎨 ✏️

🎉 Celebrate National Speech-Language-Hearing Month with Villa Esperanza Services! 🎉

Villa is excited to honor Speech-Language-Hearing Month by sharing valuable information, resources, and fun activities all month long! Our goal is to raise awareness about communication disorders and how early intervention can make a difference in people's lives.

If you're concerned about a loved one’s communication skills, here’s what you can do:
👉 Talk to your primary care physician for evaluation options
👉 For children 0-3, request a free evaluation through your local regional center: https://www.dds.ca.gov/rc/lookup-rcs-by-county/
👉 For children 3 and older, request a free evaluation through your local school district

Join us at Villa’s 65th Anniversary Celebration on May 30th, from 2:00-5:00pm, where our speech team will be offering FREE speech screenings! Families are welcome to stop by, get screened, and chat with our staff about communication development. It’s a wonderful opportunity to learn more and support your loved ones' communication skills.
