Temporary power is essential on the jobsite, but it needs to be used safely. ⚡

Damaged extension cords, improper grounding, and inadequate GFCI protection can expose workers to serious electrical hazards, including shock, burns, and fires.

Before using temporary electrical power, inspect extension cords and equipment for damage, verify proper grounding, and make sure required GFCI protection is in place. Damaged cords should be removed from service immediately.

A quick inspection before plugging in can make a major difference. Inspect it.

Protect it. Use it safely.

Falls remain one of the leading causes of serious injuries and fatalities in construction. Understanding and following Cal/OSHA fall protection standards helps protect workers, reduce risk, and create safer jobsites for everyone.

A great turnout for the Labor Operations Master Class! ⚡

More than 30 attendees came together for an interactive workshop focused on turning labor challenges into opportunities. The session covered strategies for labor planning, forecasting, productivity, project exit strategies, job saturation, and creating greater alignment across project teams.

What a turnout! 🎉⚡

More than 400 guests joined us for the 38th Annual Electrical Industry BBQ at the LA Electrical Training Institute! It was a great afternoon filled with good food, networking, and an opportunity to come together as an electrical industry community.

Presented by IBEW 11, NECA, and LMCC, this annual event is all about bringing our industry together and strengthening the connections that keep us moving forward.

Thank you to everyone who joined us and helped make this year’s BBQ such a success. Good food. Great people. Stronger together. ⚡

A new chapter for workforce training! ✂️🎉 We were proud to celebrate the grand opening of the new meeting space at the ETI in Commerce with a ribbon-cutting ceremony.

This new space reflects our continued commitment to supporting apprentices, strengthening collaboration, and investing in the future of the electrical industry. Thank you to everyone who joined us to mark this exciting milestone!

Looking back and wanting to thank everyone who joined us for the 2026 LA/NECA Annual Golf Tournament & General Membership Meeting at Industry Hills Golf Club at Pacific Palms Resort! ⛳

We were excited to host this year's event at a new venue and were thrilled to see such a great turnout. From friendly competition on both courses to valuable networking opportunities, it was a wonderful day spent with members, partners, and industry colleagues.
Thank you to all who participated and helped make this year's tournament a success. We look forward to seeing you again next year!
