Some windows hold more than sunlight. They hold hope, faith, and the quiet strength of a family walking through hard days together. ❤️
For children facing serious illness, palliative care is about so much more than medical support. It’s about caring for the whole family, including brothers and sisters whose lives are changed too. While one child may be receiving treatment, siblings are often carrying big emotions of their own: fear, confusion, loneliness, and the need to still feel seen and supported.
At Project Joy and Hope, we believe every child in the family deserves care, comfort, and compassion. Whether it’s a providing a listening ear or art supplies for children to express themselves creatively, we do everything we can to make PJH their home away from home. 🌿✨

This weekend with gratitude we remember those who gave their lives for us.

One of the greatest joys at Project Joy and Hope is when families return to our campus just to let us see how their children are doing. Watching children laugh, grow, heal, and simply be kids again is a reminder of why we do what we do.

So often, parents hug our staff and volunteers and say, “Thank you for being like family.” Those words mean more than we can express. At PJH, families are never alone — and the bonds created during difficult days often last a lifetime. 💙

Thank you to our friends at this awesome elementary school for encouraging young children to help others. These students were so excited to present their donation to Project Joy and Hope Program Development Coordinator, McKensie Turpin, this afternoon. You make a difference!
