On May 5th, we hosted our Scholarship Fund Reception to honor the 20 young women who received scholarships from our Club. This year, we were able to award the most money that we have ever given in a single year - $78,500 - to the most recipients in a single year, 20 extremely qualified students.

Our April meeting had a wonderful speaker, award-winning author Naomi Hirahara, who spoke about her most recent book, Crown City, set in early 1900's Pasadena. Besides our great speaker, there were beautiful decorations, a delicious lunch, and, as always, a great opportunity to connect with friends.
