We are incredibly proud to recognize Y. Haig Kegham on earning the rank of Eagle Scout on June 26th, 2026 becoming the 35th Eagle Scout of Troop 86!

For his Eagle Scout Service Project, Haig gave back to his community by fundraising to build benches for the students at Clifton Middle School in Monrovia creating a welcoming space for students to gather, connect, and enjoy their campus. Every donation went directly toward making this project possible, with any additional funds benefiting the school.

Today we were kindly joined by , who led an engaging bike safety workshop for our Webelos and Girl Scouts. Scouts learned important bike maintenance skills, including how to properly lubricate a chain and apply oil, how to pump a tire, and the basics of repairing a flat tire by removing a wheel, inspecting the tire for damage, and discussing repair techniques. Thank you to the Velo Pasadena team, Matt and Tiago, for sharing their time and expertise and helping our scouts become safer, more confident cyclists! 🚲

This past Saturday, we were honored to celebrate the achievements of our newest Eagle Scouts from Troop 86. Congratulations to Y. Aram Kedeshian, Y. Arek Kedeshian, Y. Alex Oghoorian, Y. Johnny Jemelian, Y. Daron Momjian, Y. Gregory Oghoorian, Y. Nareg Simonian, and Y. Eddy Gumushian on earning Scouting’s highest rank.

Thank you to all the friends, family members, Scouts, Yeretz, and past Eagle Scouts who joined us in celebrating this special milestone. Your support and presence meant so much to these young men and their families.

A special thank you to Congresswoman Judy Chu for recognizing our Eagle Scouts and to Dr. Hartman, Rose Bowl District Board Member for his inspiring words, leadership, and wisdom.

We are incredibly proud of these eight young men and look forward to seeing the impact they will continue to make in their communities and beyond. Congratulations, Eagles!

Two weeks ago, our Boy Scouts headed out to Gould Mesa Campground in La Cañada for a backpacking adventure. Carrying everything they needed on their backs, they embraced the outdoors and put their scouting skills to the test.

From carefully filtering their own water to building campfires and setting up camp with only the essentials, our Scouts experienced what it means to be self-reliant. Most importantly, they enjoyed a weekend filled with adventure, teamwork, and amazing memories! 🏕️
