We are busy prepping to give away free play therapy to L.A. families displaced by the SoCal wildfires. You’ve gotta see the 🛍️toy kits donated to us by the kind folks at Oaktree Capital in DTLA, thank you so much Oaktree Capital Management including Jerilyn and Lydia and their team who wrote encouraging messages on the bags for the kids and even organized them by ages. The helpers are helping and it’s beautiful! I want to also thank Tina Payne Bryson, Ph.D. and The Center for Connection making it possible for us to offer play as a way of emotional recovery for children. We hope to roll out sessions soon - we love you L.A. kids, stay strong! 🌤️

From Georgie: My heart aches for all of the families that are suffering across LA right now. My own family has a deep attachment to Altadena. We lived in a beautiful house on Altadena Drive while my son was in preschool. All of our memories of that time were in that community. It was destroyed, like many other homes, schools, and businesses of our dear friends in the fire. It may feel unfathomable now but healing will come eventually, and many children will start that process through play. I’m sharing some resources about how children’s play can be healing for the whole family. For when you’re ready ❤️‍🩹
