LitFest in the Dena We hope you'll join us Saturday and Sunday, May 6 & 7, 2023. The festival is also supported by the Playhouse Management District.

Founded in 2012, LitFest in the Dena is the free, community literary festival with over 100 authors, publishers, editors, agents, and poets participating in a number of panel discussions, readings, and workshops. Launched in 2012, LitFest Pasadena offers book lovers a variety of panel discussions, readings, workshops, and interactive literary experiences that engage, challenge, inspire and celebrates our community's diversity. LitFest Pasadena is presented by the nonprofit arts and education organization, Light Bringer Project, and Locavore Lit LA, and is made possible in part by the Pasadena Arts & Culture Commission and the City of Pasadena Cultural Affairs Division.

We're so excited to launch the 12TH SEASON of our Omega Sci-Fi Project program for LA County high school students!

We're offering free in class sci-fi writing workshops from Sept. 1 to Feb. 11, and students are invited to also submit their short stories for judging by Feb. 12!
