Thanks to the generosity of our neighbors and Bungalow Heaven Home Tour guests, the Bungalow Heaven Neighborhood Association donated $5,000 to the San Gabriel Valley Habitat for Humanity to help rebuild fire-affected homes in Altadena, Pasadena and Sierra Madre. On Friday, July 24, Bungalow Heaven volunteers installed fire-resistant siding at a SGV Habitat for Humanity build in Altadena. We thank everyone who donated, attended the Home Tour, and took the time to help with the build!

Congratulations to Vannia De La Cuba on receiving a Certificate of Congressional Recognition—so well deserved! Thank you for being a dedicated champion for Bungalow Heaven over the years.

Vannia De La Cuba, from the City of Pasadena Mayor’s Office, was presented with a Certificate of Congressional Recognition during the Women of the Year Awards by US Congresswoman Judy Chu.

The award honors her outstanding contributions to the people of the 25th Congressional District, as well as her leadership, dedication, compassion, and selfless commitment to the community.

Thanks to all of our Bungalow Heaven neighbors who helped out at this weekend's Save the Tiles volunteer day! Participants carefully prepared historic tiles for relocation from Altadena to the organization's new headquarters in Downtown Los Angeles.

Save the Tiles works to honor what was lost and safeguard what remains, and this volunteer day was intended as a moment of reflection and forward-looking care as we marked the anniversary of the Eaton Fire. Learn more at savethetiles.org.
