Seattle’s Premier Evening ✨

On August 14, Asian Hall of Fame brings together distinguished leaders, philanthropists, artists, and community visionaries for our 2026 Founders Gala at the Washington Athletic Club.

The black-tie benefit will honor Seattle philanthropists Jerry and Charlene Lee, while supporting scholarships for women in tech, entertainment, science and sports.

Former U.S. Secretary of Commerce and Washington Governor Gary Locke will present Welcome Remarks, with Molly Shen serving as Master of Ceremonies and special musical performances from Ed Roth, Hiro Yamamoto, Maki Mae, Derek Chinn, and Daniel Pak.

More than a gala, this evening reflects what Asian Hall of Fame was founded to do: bring leaders together, recognize legacy, and turn recognition into opportunity for the next generation.

We look forward to welcoming our Seattle community for an extraordinary evening.

At the 2025 Asian Hall of Fame Induction Ceremony, Inductee YOSHIKI () delivered an emotional performance of “Endless Rain,” a moving tribute to resilience, hope, and the healing power of music.

Now, he returns to Los Angeles for Classical 2026 at Walt Disney Concert Hall—his first full U.S. concerts since recovering from his third cervical spine surgery. Scarlet Night (July 16) and Violet Night (July 17) will each feature a unique program celebrating his remarkable return.

California Governor Gavin Newsom () has officially signed legislation designating May 17 as Bruce Lee Day, making Lee the first Chinese American in state history to receive an annual statewide commemorative day.

The designation honors Bruce Lee’s () lasting impact as a martial artist, actor, philosopher, and cultural trailblazer whose influence continues to inspire generations around the world.
