It truly takes a village y’all! THANK YOU California Governor, Assemblymember Mia Bonta, State Senator Nancy Skinner, Speaker Anthony Rendon, Phil Ting, Senator Sydney Kamlager, Dr. Joaquin Arambula , Senator Susan Talamantes Eggman, Toni G. Atkins, and everyone who advocated with us this legislative season!

The state’s historic, first-time ever investment in Promise Neighborhoods will help sustain a civic infrastructure that has been here for about a decade. It will provide thousands of families and children from before birth through college and career. We will create vibrant & resilient communities where kids succeed in schools and families move out of poverty. This is the start of something great! End Child Poverty CA

“The COVID-19 pandemic has exacerbated child poverty and racial and economic disparities,” said Assemblymember Mia Bonta. “By ensuring coordinated investments in services and supports, [this bill] will expand California’s capacity to challenge poverty, address disparities, and provide support for children and their families from cradle to career.”
