Det. Kyle Crowley, Major Crimes Bureau with the Los Angeles County Sheriff's Department's Cargo CATS will be joining the panel to provide insight on current trends in cargo theft. Det. Crowley has worked for the Sheriff’s Department for fifteen years in a variety of assignments including patrol, special assignment teams, and Detective Bureau. He has been assigned to the Major Crimes Bureau for the past three years exclusively investigating cargo theft cases. Detective Crowley has worked alongside and collaborate with many agencies combating cargo theft crimes and has spoken at multiple conferences as a guest speaker to provide the industry with tools and knowledge to defend against cargo theft.

Keith Lewis, Vice President of Operations of CargoNet, returns for this year's Cargo Theft Prevention Panel: The New Face of Cargo Theft: Threats, Trends, and Solutions on Tuesday, October 27, 11:30 a.m. at Old Ranch Country Club in Seal Beach. As CargoNet vice president of operations, Keith Lewis is responsible for managing CargoNet’s operational efforts, including supervising operations staff and providing investigative support and system training for CargoNet members. Keith has over 20 years’ experience in the third party logistics industry. He began his career in 1980 as an operations manager in the transportation division of one of the country’s largest 3PLs. There, Keith worked his way up to general manager, overseeing the company’s trucking division as well as a 1.1 million square-foot distribution center. Keith also held high profile roles at two additional 3PLs.
