Shared Harvest Fund

Shared Harvest Fund Shared Harvest is transforming employee engagement and community impact by eliminating the burden of student debt. You've found your people! Join us.

Shared Harvest is a social enterprise benefit corporation. Our area of focus is community-based disaster response, capacity building, and workforce wellbeing. Shared Harvest Foundation is a 501(c)(3) social enterprise advancing compassion through wellness, service, and relief. We mobilize and train a culturally responsive, community-based workforce to provide disaster relief, care coordination, an

d frontline support for organizations serving vulnerable populations. We offer fiscal sponsorship to organizations doing impact work who need a supportive partner. From emergency response to long-term recovery and systems change, we ensure nonprofits and grassroots efforts have the tools, talent, and technology to thrive. We believe that when we take care of the people doing the work, the work gets done right.

We also know that financial security is what makes service sustainable. When you're carrying the weight of student or medical debt, volunteering feels like a luxury. That’s why we create pathways for changemakers—students, recent grads, career shifters, and seasoned professionals alike—to receive stipends, earn loan forgiveness, and participate in paid apprenticeships and practicum experiences while serving their communities. Diverse voices are needed on the frontlines—and no one should have to choose between service and survival. Our tech-powered platforms—Debtfreelancer, myCovidMD, Jouvé, Jouvé Health, and HeyDENA—are developed in collaboration with public interest technologists to address social determinants of health and build capacity across sectors.

At Shared Harvest, we wipe your debt while you do good—and we measure our success through lives changed and social capital earned. Whether you’re a funder, sponsor, or partner, you can help grow a new model of impact—one where doing good and doing well go hand in hand.

Shared Harvest is working to restore dignity and stability for Altadena’s caregivers after the Eaton fire.

When the fire tore through the community, it didn’t just destroy homes. It disrupted the care systems that families rely on every day: childcare, in-home caregivers, and more that kept parents working and communities connected. Caregiving is infrastructure. When that infrastructure disappears, the effects reach every part of a community’s recovery.

Altadena’s caregivers are still here. Still trusted. Still showing up for their neighbors. Shared Harvest is helping close the gap so they can continue caring for the community they’ve long supported.

Because real rebuilding starts with people.

Shoutout to our incredible Case Manager, Lisa.

Today, we’re highlighting Aurelia, one of our program participants that Shared Harvest has supported after losing her home in last year’s Eaton Canyon fire. From the very beginning, Lisa provided Aurelia with guidance and compassionate support as she navigated one of the most difficult periods of her life. With Lisa’s advocacy, Aurelia was able to access critical resources and begin moving forward through the recovery process.

We’re deeply grateful to Aurelia for trusting us with her story and allowing us to share the impact of this work.

Your support helps Shared Harvest continue providing direct assistance to fire-impacted families and individuals in need.

The journey to rebuild is long, but it doesn’t have to be lonely.

Shared Harvest has built a 6-module Disaster Care Manager curriculum, which is California’s first community-led blueprint for disaster response. This isn’t just about FEMA applications; it’s about training trusted neighbors in trauma-informed care, anti-displacement advocacy, and financial wellness. By embedding care navigators where families already turn for help, we are turning systemic strain into a catalyst for resilience. Join our movement of co-conspirators of good.

Smiles all around on this day of celebration! 😊

Last Thursday, Ms. Carolyn and Ms. Ana officially moved back home! Through a multi-organizational partnership with Shared Harvest titled, Together We Rebuild, we were able to gift these incredible women, who happen to be both neighbors and lifelong friends, two ADUs. These ADUs brought Ms. Carolyn and Ms. Ana back to their land, more importantly, back to their community.

Thank you to all who came to celebrate this homecoming. Special thanks to our partners for making this possible.
