Ester, Issayah, Daniel, and Samwel each have different goals for their future work, but all four hope to improve healthcare in their communities. Through PSCTP’s Scholar Program, they are continuing their studies in nursing, pharmacy, mental health nursing, and medicine.

In honor of World Lion Day, we celebrate the Tanzanians dedicated to protecting East Africa’s lions.
During a recent trip to the Serengeti, we came across an injured lion and contacted veterinarian Dr. Dixon Wambura. He and his team located the lion and treated his wounds.
Their response reflects the spirit of One Health and the connection between the health of animals, people, and our shared ecosystems.
