Today is World Wildlife Day One.

Isn't it ironic and sad that as the world celebrates World Wildlife Day 2025 with the slogan "Wildlife Conservation Finance - Investing in People and Planet," our federal government is viciously slashing funding for:
* National Forests
* National Parks
* Endangered Species
* National Monuments
* Climate Change
* and the dedicated public servants who tend them.

NELA says No! to Pasadena/SouthPasadena "Water Reuse" program

Save San Pascual Park is a community-driven, grassroots-led response to the proposed Arroyo Seco Water Reuse Project developed by the cities of Pasadena and South Pasadena, at the exclusion of Highland Park and other Los Angeles neighborhood communities. One of the goals of the “water re-use” project is to divert water from the Arroyo Seco channel to the South Pasadena Golf course to the detriment of the ecology, environment, and cultural heritage of Los Angeles. https://historicgarvanzacoalition.com/projects/save-san-pascual-park/
