We are sponsoring a Virtual Plant Display in honor of the society's 75th anniversary. Anyone - members and those of you aren't members - can enter the display. It is not a competition! We would just like you to show off your photography of gesneriads. This is an non-judged display with very few rules. The deadline for photo submissions is April 30, 2026. Members should be receiving their copy of the 1Q26 issue if Gesneriads very soon. Problems at the printer delayed publication.

For over 20 years the Society's mailing address has been 1122 E Pike St, PMB 637, Seattle, WA 98122, which is a private mailbox establishment. Unfortunately, they suffered a fire a few weeks ago. No one was hurt, and they were hoping to rebuild, but they announced that they will not be reopening, so the Society needs to change its address of record. The Society's mailing address will now be:

This spectacular specimen of Streptocarpus 'Bristol's Lollipop' was entered by first time convention attendee Rachel Armstrong, It received the Runner up to Best in Horticulture award, in addition to the Best Old World Gesneriad in Flower and Best Violet Barn hybrid awards. Congratulations Rachel!
