Whether you see it or not, Cleveland has residents experiencing homelessness every single day.

Temperatures have been nearing 100 degrees this week too, which makes simply existing even more difficult for those members of our community.

If you or someone you know is experiencing homelessness, know that there are various places to seek shelter throughout this heat wave.

You can call 211 for Cuyahoga County's shelter intake that is managed by United Way's 211 First Call for Help and FrontLine Service Coordinated Intake.

LMM also operates the Men’s Shelter at 2100 Lakeside, a shelter for single adults 18+. If you need shelter outside of those hours, you can come directly to 2100 Lakeside for shelter and call the Coordinated Intake and Assessment office when they re-open. No appointment is needed at the shelter.

As an emergency shelter, even when all beds are assigned, we will still allow Individuals Experiencing Homelessness to enter the building to escape inclement weather. Women led families are also welcome in our Family Overflow services.
