SONS OF THE AMERICAN LEGION

For anyone that missed the meeting tonight? On November 14th, the SONS was asked to cook dinner for the. Military trivia, night in the canteen. We agreed to do so. It will be italian sausage sandwiches and a bag of chips for $7. Volunteers will be needed.

Today the American Legion Parma Post 572 held the Ground Breaking Ceremony at the new site in Seven Hills. The anticipation has been growing and today with the weather gods in agreement, we were able to conduct our ceremony under sunny skies. Thank you Seven Hills Mayor Anthony Biasiotta and Parma Mayor Tim DeGeeter for your support and kind words encapsulating this endeavor. Thank you to our contractor Mike Nyman Construction Company, HSB Architects, First Common Wealth Bank, and Mike Smith/Keller Williams realtors. Thank you to the community for your support and thank you Seven Hills and Parma for the use of the city vans to transport members!

Today Post 572 Commissary held another food bag distribution. Working together, and team building was the order of the day. Thank you to our food haulers who met at Marc’s (Strongsville) on Thursday 15 Oct 2026 at 8 am. Thank you Ken Lewis for placing this large order. Marc’s employees graciously pulls this order and it’s ready when we arrive. The team is much larger than you can imagine! Well done everyone
