Sometimes, the most meaningful moments come when words are no longer needed.

In a recent Faith & You column by Terry Pluto on Cleveland.com, Tom shared a beautiful story about his mother's final hours at Holy Family Hospice.

As Tom held his mother's hand and sang her favorite hymns, a Holy Family nurse and Sister Margaret Mary joined in song. It was a simple, sacred moment of comfort, faith and compassion.

We are grateful to Tom for sharing something so personal and for reminding us that hospice care is about so much more than the final days of life. It's about being present, bringing comfort and honoring each person's life with love and dignity.

Last night we gathered to recognize & honor our employees from St. Augustine Health Ministries (Holy Family, Tower Assisted Living & Health Campus). All of our employees exemplify our mission & values in their work; on a day-to-day basis. They are the ones who make our residents feel safe, welcomed & cared for. Without them there would be no St. Augustine Health Ministries.

Congratulations to our Holy Family Home Health Care team on receiving a deficiency-free Ohio Department of Health State Survey!

Surveyors recognized the strength of the program, the clinical excellence of our team, and the supportive spirit that is evident in the way our staff care for one another and for the patients they serve.

Most importantly, patients shared what we are blessed to see every day — they trust our caregivers, value their visits, and feel cared for in the comfort of home.

We are so proud of this team and grateful for the compassionate, skilled care they provide throughout the community.
