The crews have been released from the Pineland Road and Highway 82 fires in Southeastern Georgia and are headed home.

Parma, Nampa, Melba, and Sand Hollow are working hard in Georgia on the Pineland Road and Highway 82 fires.

As of this afternoon:
Pineland Road fire is 32,575 acres, 40% contained
Hwy 82 fire is 22,532 acres, 37% contained

Crews have been working with resources from all over the country, including GA, NJ, NH, OR, MN, FL, and TX, to name a few.

In the past 2 days there has been a number of suspicious wildland fires located on BLM lands between Sand Hollow and Parma. If you notice anything suspicious, please notify Payette County Sheriff's Office

Parma Firefighters have completed 14 days on the Monroe Canyon Fire in Central Utah.

Although it was close, we did not receive enough votes for our Fire District Levy to pass.
