Quarter Mile Foundation In honor of those who made the ultimate sacrifice so others can reach for the stars! The documentary crew has access to the big names in drag racing.

The Quarter Mile Foundation is working to create a episodic documentary about the birth, growth, and supporting industry built up around drag racing. It will cover the people, the vehicles, the races, the technology, and the entrepreneurs that made up drag racing from the 1940s through the dawn of computerization in the late 1980s. Episodes will cover each decade of drag race history from the 1940s to the end of the 1980s, the key figures in drag racing history, aftermarket innovations that made their way into mainstream automotive technology, the influence of corporate sponsorship, major racetracks and their owners, and the birth and growth of the sanctioning bodies that govern drag racing. More than just a historical archive, the documentary will bring the daring, genius, and excitement of drag racing to a new audience, and a new generation of racing fans. It will be composed of both first-person interviews with drag race and performance aftermarket greats and archival footage that brings the sport to life. Because the Quarter Mile Foundation members are intimately acquainted with drag racing, they are uniquely positioned to portray an insider’s view of the sport.

In my industry "Drag Racing 🏁". We don't play these games. 🏁💥🎉

A Knicks fan is crying foul after he booked a penthouse at the Ritz-Carlton for Game 4 of the NBA Finals — but got kicked out of the $20,000 hotel room because of a demand from Victor Wembany…

It is with profound sadness 😔 that on May 24th 2026 Joe Hrudka (Mr.Gasket Co.) left us to join our heavenly Father after a long battle with the dreadful disease Alzheimers.

To all who knew him, his extraordinary and legendary accomplishments in the entire racing 🏁 and performance industry are well known and revered.

Joe's biggest passion in the industry was taking care of the racers, being a avid racer himself he knew where the need was and made sure it was done.

Joe's mentor and inspiration was Chris "The Greek" Karamensines, his hero John Force! Oh, how many times he would call me when John was at a race putting in his 10 cents.

He was shy, eccentric and brilliant to a fault and always did it HIS way! There was no other way but Joe's and all were the better for it.

The industry just became a lot dimmer with his loss yet the legacy will always shine brightly.

Sleep peacefully Uncle Joe and more then most times Father, you fought well. 🙏😪🕊🏁

Even though you did not remember your legacy, fear not, all that knew you WILL!

If anyone wishes to leave a story they have with Joe please share. All responses will be shared with our family.
