Old Bridge Pack 219

Old Bridge Pack 219 Cub Scouts is a year-round family- program for boys and girls in grades K through 5. Cub Scouting is fun for the whole family! All while having FUN!

We love outdoor adventures and our program helps build confidence and learn important values and skills. We welcome all boys & girls in grades K-5 from from Old Bridge New Jersey and surrounding neighborhoods. Our Dens meet each week in every level of scouting except Lions. Lions (Kindergarten),
Tigers (First Grade),
Wolves (Second Grade),
Bears (Third Grade),
Webelos I (Fourth Grade)
Arrow

of Light (Fifth Grade). Monthly Pack Meetings

Pack 219 meets on the 3rd Tuesday night of each month at 7 pm from September through May at the Madison Park Fire Company 3011 Cheesquake Road, Parlin NJ. We use this time to recognize the achievements of our Scouts both individually and as a group. This is also a forum to share information about upcoming events. Participating in the monthly Pack meeting allows Scouts to understand that their den is part of a larger organization. Pack 219 offers a lot of fun activities and serves the community year round!!! Our typical Yearly Program:

September: Den Meetings Start
October: Family Camping
November: Community Service/Camp In
December: We spread Holiday cheer! January: Pinewood Derby
February: For Scouting's Birthday we celebrate with a Blue and Gold Banquet! March: Annual Family Snow Tubing and Ski Trip & oldest Cubs cross over to Troop. April: Recruitment and Community Service
May: Fishing Derby
June: Moving Up ceremony/family Picnic
July: Summer Fun
August: Family Movie Night

We also have additional events like Sleepovers at local museums (Battleship NJ, Franklin Institute, etc), popcorn sales, Candy Sales, hiking, community service projects, and many other fun, educational events! These are just some of the events and fun we have, with our pack your son or daughter will learn to cook, start a fire, first aid, knot tying, hiking, and make friendships to last a lifetime! Cub Scouts is a great way to get your child prepared for the future, have fun and best of all its a wonderful bonding experience.

Busy Sunday for Old Bridge Pack 219: two events on one day 💪 ⚜️
First, Middlesex County Pinewood Derby 2026 🏎️ 🏆 by Monmouth Council, Scouting America.

Then, Scout Day at Jenkinson's Boardwalk: cleaned the beach and enjoyed the rides, and definitely pushed our limits on the Ropes Course 🧗!

Old Bridge Pack 219 ⚜️ had an extremely interesting tour at Old Bridge Animal Shelter ❤️! Heartfelt thanks 😊 to animal control officer, Alfredo, for teaching the boys about the humane ways of capturing the animals, how the shelter and its dedicated staff and volunteers take care of them and the process of adoption. Kids were very excited meeting the cats 🐱, dogs 🐶 and a bunny 🐰 available for adoption and they are looking forward to bringing the donations of tennis balls 🎾 and dog/cat toys 🧸
