Thank you so much to Sacramento County Sheriff’s Office and CHP - South Sacramento for bringing Santa out to sprinkling our neighborhood with the Magic of Christmas and for spreading so much holiday love & cheer among our community members last night!

The Sacramento County Sheriff's Office is asking for your assistance in locating an at-risk missing person. The missing person is P**c Cuoc, Asian male adult, 86 years old, 5'6, 130 lbs, black hair, brown eyes and was last seen wearing a gray and brown hat, gray jacket, dark pants and white shoes. If you have seen Cuoc or anyone matching his description, please contact the Sacramento Sheriff's Office at (916) 874-5111.

****Scam Alert****

For the last two days, the CHP - Sacramento Communications Center has received calls from motorists traveling on US-50 near SR-99 who have reported that a male was stepping in front of their vehicles and waving them down to stop. After the motorist stopped to assist the male, the male advised the Good Samaritans that he was out of gas and needed help. The male then attempted to sell the Samaritans jewelry or just asked for money to get home which he claims is out of state. This is a scam!! We have had reports of this scam taking place throughout the entire state and now it seems that it has arrived in Sacramento.

The suspect is described as male, approximately 25-30 years old and of middle eastern decent. The vehicle is a black SUV. If this individual attempts to stop you, please do not stop. Please call 911 and we will get officers to the location as soon as possible.

Dog found roaming 5th parkway.

Update: He got out of my back gate in into the gated area where we keep our trash cans. Barking like crazy when I got home at 2:30. He is now inside where its cool. Our crotchety old dog get can't handle his high eratic energy. If no one claims him he will have to got the shelter.😥

Grey studded collar no tags though. Gave him some water and he was resting in my drive way but went on his way toward Sky Parkway. He came back and played down in my garage. So he's now in my backyard where it's shady. I have to leave and can't keep him in the house with my other dog. I'll be back later this afternoon. MSG me if he belongs to you.
