The Lord placed it in my heart to the establish a foundation to better serve the ministries and Leon and I currently support.
Recently we established the Artos Foundation.

We landed early in Kisumu, where Pastor Philip greeted us — along with Derek, a young man he once befriended on the street and has since adopted as his son. Derek is 19, has completed high school, and is hoping to train as an electrician. What a beautiful picture of redemption and fatherhood.
From the airport, we went directly to our first school — where more than 1,100 students were waiting to welcome us.
Pastor Philip, Pastor Patrick, and Associate Arnold faithfully lead a vibrant and active school ministry.
Arnold, gifted in singing and songwriting, led the children in joyful, catchy songs that teach wisdom and good choices. For the older teens, one powerful song carried a strong message: “He’s just using you.” A bold and loving call toward purity.
For the Primary Schools
Pastor Patrick spoke about “catching naughty thoughts” before they take root:
“Mosquito! Mosquito!”
Catch!
Kill!
Teaching them to capture wrong thoughts before they grow into destructive actions.
Pastor Philip reminded the children that at the beginning of this school term, they were “packaged so well” — with uniforms, books, shoes, socks — and sent out with purpose.
Just as Moses’ mother placed him carefully in the basket and sent him toward destiny, these children too have been packaged and sent — with calling, purpose, and God’s hand upon their lives.
They were incredibly attentive — repeating nearly every word, hungry to receive truth.
For the High School Students
The message was clear:
Decisions vs. Consequences.
Do not believe that a momentary decision is more important than the consequences it carries.
Do not sidetrack your destiny or God’s purpose for your life by thinking a choice is inconsequential.
Stay focused.
Renew your mind with the Word of God.
Guard your future.
It was powerful.
It was moving.
It was holy work.
And this is only the beginning.
Grateful beyond words.
