Cause for Paws is a Not for Profit organization developed to protect the rights of community cat caretakers while providing options for private and public institutions when implementing the No Kill equation to a cities public policy.

Mr. Pickles crossed over the rainbow bridge yesterday. He was the most resilient cat we have ever seen. He was just a plain little tabby when he came to us as an adult in 2014. Rescued from a loading dock where one of our volunteers worked. He was a full grown adult then but was very friendly and adapted to everyone very well. He was respected by all of the other cats though never really aggressive. He loved attention and would basically demand to sit on laps, make biscuits and be pet whenever someone came to work or visit. He had been sick for quite some time. He was fiv+ but never really should any signs of it. We will all miss him so much. This is the painful side of rescue- Having to say "goodbye".
