Mr. Pickles crossed over the rainbow bridge yesterday. He was the most resilient cat we have ever seen. He was just a plain little tabby when he came to us as an adult in 2014. Rescued from a loading dock where one of our volunteers worked. He was a full grown adult then but was very friendly and adapted to everyone very well. He was respected by all of the other cats though never really aggressive. He loved attention and would basically demand to sit on laps, make biscuits and be pet whenever someone came to work or visit. He had been sick for quite some time. He was fiv+ but never really should any signs of it. We will all miss him so much. This is the painful side of rescue- Having to say "goodbye".

Our Mr. Bones (Bonesy) has been adopted!!! We are ecstatic to announce that he has finally found his forever home! Bonesy came to us in September of 2018. He was so skinny and crying when we found him on our back porch. He had been abandoned and thankfully had found his way to our backyard. Mr. Bones was very difficult at first but he became one of our favorites. He is very smart and more than a bit mischievous. A marvelous woman was looking to replace a cat she had had for years. They fell in love with each other and he has had no trouble adjusting to household living. We are so happy for him. Live long and prosper!

Rest in Peace, Mr. Fluffy. We began feeding you in the parking lot outside of CVS on Lox and 441 in 2013. You lived there until you came to us here in 2017. You were always the "gentleman" cat. All the other cats loved and respected you and after an initial adjustment to the shelter life, you easily became friends with all of your human care givers. These past few months have been difficult watching you fade away physically, but you never lost your purr or your desire for human attention. Mr. Fluffy ???- 2/20/26. We will miss you.
