Sew Much Love meets on the LAST SATURDAY of each month. We meet in the community Room at the Parkesburg Mennonite Church. The primary focus of the activities is to sew pillowcases to be donated to the Children's Hospital of the Hershey Medical Center. They give each child who is admitted to the hospital their choice of pillowcases to be used and then taken home when they are released to return hom
e. We receive the pillowcase kits from Piece By Piece Quilt Shop in Ephrata, so all we need to do is provide the sewing machines and time to create the pillowcases. We would love to see seasoned seamstresses as well as people who would like to learn to sew or haven't sewn in many years come and join us for some fun and fellowship. Sew Much Love will also be doing other fun and simple sewing projects along the way as well. Bring a sewing machine, if you have one, (we have one or two that you can use if you do not have one) and your lunch and drinks of your choice. We will have coffee and doughnuts available when you first arrive. We have lots of fun and share our talents so you can learn something every time you come.
