Parkersburg Area Jaycees Organization of young professionals between the ages of 18-40 who provide service to our community

HERE IN PARKERSBURG:
The Parkersburg Area Jaycees were a driving Force in the community for over 65 years. Parkersburg has the proud honor of being the birthplace of the West Virginia Jaycees in 1939. Members of the New Parkersburg Area Jaycees will have many opportunities to achieve their goals and develop their skills. Whether interested in being a chapter officer, or simply working on a project

communittee, members will have the chance to learn skills ranging from marketing to personnel management and more. Every member has unique talents to offer, and we provide members with freedom to contribute them in any way, from training other members, to creatively using them in programs and projects. The Parkersburg Area Jaycees will have opportunities to participate in programs sponsored by the Chamber of Commerce of the Mid-Ohio Valley. Parkersburg Area Jaycees have been known for these projects in the past:
- Santa's Helpers Program and the Little Mr./Miss Christmas Pageant
- Sponsors of the Special Olympics
- Haunted House

Since the chapter's reinstatement in 2011, projects have included:
- Taste of Parkersburg
- Chili Cook-Off
- Habitat for Humanity
- 5k Race
- Various Fundraisers
and More....

Join us in making the night extra special by passing out candy at the Boys and Girls Club of Parkersburg on October 24th, from 6-7pm (volunteers arrive by 5:00).

This year’s theme is “Lights On,” so we’re going all out with string lights, props, and plenty of Halloween fun to light up the evening for the kids.

✨ Help us “light up” the night at this year’s Trunk or Treat! 🎃

We’re looking for volunteers to pass out candy at the Boys and Girls Club of Parkersburg on October 24th, from 6-7pm (volunteers arrive by 5:30).

This year’s theme is “Lights On,” so we're decorating our car trunks with string lights, props, and plenty of Halloween spirit to make this a magical evening for the kids.

We laughed, we screamed, and made memories for a lifetime.

The Jaycees are going to Cedar Point! 🎢

Do you love rollercoasters, spending time with friends, or going on new adventures?

Join us for a fun day of thrills at Cedar Point Theme Park in Sandusky, OH on Saturday, July 27, 2024.

We'll be departing from Parkersburg at 7:30am and leaving Cedar Point at 5pm.

Carpool options are available. Spouses and children are welcome. All attendees are responsible for paying for their own admission and food.

Jaycee members, Julie Posey and Bridget Poston, had an amazing time at the Women in Leadership Conference last week!

Big thanks to the Chamber of Commerce of the Mid-Ohio Valley for hosting this empowering event that brought in over 300 women from the area.

We can't wait for what next year's event will bring!
