Our first drop-in hours are this Saturday, and we’d love to see you. Come for help with reading, writing, or computer skills, or just stop in to learn more about what we do. If you’ve ever thought about volunteering, this is a great chance to ask questions and get connected. Everyone is welcome. Cookies and LV-MOV bookmarks will be available.

We spent our afternoon packing Blessing bags to hand out to guests at the The Memorial Church of the Good Shepherd, Parkersburg community dinner! What a great time talking and connecting with our neighbors!! Thank you to everyone who helped make this happen! ❤️

🎀 Community Collaboration in Action! 🎀

The Literacy Volunteers of the Mid-Ohio Valley packed special gift bags this evening for the Wood County Women’s Rights Alliance Pink Period Pantries! 💕

We were thrilled to welcome WCWRA Founder Isabelle Moore, who stopped by to share more about the amazing work her organization is doing to support women and girls in our community. She’ll be stocking these gifts in the Pantries soon, helping ensure that everyone has access to both essential items and encouraging resources.

We’re grateful for partnerships like this that remind us literacy and compassion go hand in hand - because caring for our community takes all of us. 💗
