The Son and Reins Ranch Our vision is to see lives changed as people discover their God-given potential through equine-related activities.

Our experiential learning activities with the horses allow people who are struggling with any emotional, mental or relational issue, to experience immediate results, lasting healing and genuine hope. Our mission is to empower people to overcome challenges and find healing and truth through authentic, experiential, equine-assisted-learning. The Son and Reins Ranch is an emotionally safe place, surrounded by God’s love and beauty displayed through His people, His animals and nature. It is a place where people are accepted as individuals and embraced as part of a community. The horses and people alike have their own stories, their own wounds, and their own issues they need help working through. Together they help each other love and trust again. Equine-Assisted-Learning (EAL) is experiential learning with the horses, who have no agenda, do not judge and who give honest and immediate feedback. Horses are always true, always consistent and they are unpredictable… Which makes them wonderful teachers!! We are here to facilitate an opportunity for people to experience life-changing healing and growth, through their OWN experience with the horses.

🔔 UPCOMING PROGRAMS AND EVENTS 🔔

EAL Programs: Equine-Assisted Learning (EAL) is experiential learning with horses that involves a physical experience, an emotional reaction, & a mental connection for effective, personal, lasting healing.

These programs are separate from our EAL sessions, which are weekly or biweekly 1 1⁄2 hour sessions.

The EAL programs require just a 1-time commitment of 2 1⁄2-3 hours and are centered around a
specific topic.

Sign up for the EAL programs you think are most relevant for your needs:

🔵 Stable Ground: Feeling shaky? Uncertain? Insecure? This program based on Philippians will remind you how to rejoice, come together & stand firm.
🔵 Boundaries: Learning to set & maintain healthy & appropriate boundaries
🔵 Trust, Teatime and Treasure: Experience how surrender leads to freedom (this program does include hot or cold tea – depending on the weather- & nice finger foods!)
🔵 Calm Hearts: Learning to move from Anxiety to Peace & Contentment
🔵 Divorce Care: Helping understand & navigate the myriad of emotions, finding support in accepting your new normal, & experiencing healing & hope along the way
🔵 Marriage Support: more information coming soon
🔵 Horses & Healing youth camp: Ages 8-11 and 12-17; Summer 2027

FAMILY-FRIENDLY EVENTS:

🔵 Worship night in the barn: spring and fall
🔵 Summer Festivities: July or August
🔵 Fall Festivities: October or November
🔵 Christmas Festivities: early December

MONTHLY GATHERINGS (no commitment required):

🔵 Women’s Fellowship: 2nd Saturday of each month (2-4pm June-Nov; 1-3pm Dec-May)
🔵 Men’s Fellowship: 2nd Friday of each month, 4-6pm
🔵 Line Dancing: 4th Friday of each month, 630-8pm (May-November), all ages welcome

I'm SO thankful and relieved.... I got good news today that the growths they removed on Bucket were all benign!! Thank GOD!!
Bucket has been a pretty good sport about wearing his inflatable donut cone, but he jumped in his pool before I could stop him, so it got soaked -- he never got the memo that he's not supposed to run, jump, play... So, then he had to wear the cone of shame....

Our Summer Festivities event this past Saturday was so much fun! It was a great turn out, great weather, and a great celebration of the barn's 5th birthday!
Youth AND adults enjoyed a good water fight, and the horses loved the extra attention while they were painted and decorated!
**A huge shout out to Elizabeth's Sweet Treats in Monument CO who donated the gorgeous - and delicious - barn cake!!
