Objective one is peer support for students:
We are not counselors, we are just advocates for students who need help but do not know where to find it. We will be working with different organizations across the Denver-Metro area and Douglas County to find the best resources for students and help them navigate through it all. We do not want to just send you somewhere else to get help, we want to get
you in contact with the right resources to best help you and we will be there to help you along the way. We will help students find information for questions ranging from biological questions to how to use a condom, to those who question their s*xuality to how to come out to people. Disclaimer: our organization does not promote s*xual acts for teens but we will make sure that if they decide that is what they are going to do then we will help them do it smart, safe and responsibly. Objective two is community outreach:
We want to become active in the community by working with:
Schools-to help cut down on bullying and to help students and teachers make their schools safer environments. Businesses-we want to do safe zone training to provide employees the knowledge and resources to make sure their coworkers and customers will not feel discriminated against for any reason based on s*x, gender, race, ethnicity, religion, etc. Open public- We also want to work with the open community to expand the support for our students past the schools.
