Parker Friends Of The Library were at the Parker Community Center today giving away free cookbooks, candy, granola bars and book markers. In case you missed us, we will be there again on Wednesday the 25th from 10:00 am-12:00 pm. Come have some lunch and check us out. 📕 📖

Thank you to everyone who checked out books during National Library Week...there were so many of you! The guesses as to the number of jellybeans in the jar ranged from 96 to 4,806. The actual number of jellybeans was 658.The winning guess was so very close. Neriah wins all the beans with her guess of 660!

Thank you to the Parker Friends of the Library and the Parker Public Library for sponsoring this fun competition. Come on down to the library...you never know what surprising things you might find. It's the best place to explore all year long.

National Library Week!

This is a book from 1000 years ago. We've come a long way since then. Stop by the Parker Public Library on Monday, the 7th and see how books have evolved since then. From 9 AM to 12. Our books aren't as heavy as they once were. You can buy some books and bring them home.

We went to the English Tea sponsored by the Bouse Friends of the Library. It was well attended with plenty of food. Oh yeah, there were a lot of very nice ladies there (I was the only gentleman brave enough to participate).
