STROH RANCH E-NEWS
HOMEOWNER ALERT: URGENT ATTENTION NEEDED!
If your child or a guest to your household has an e-bike, e-dirt bike, or any type of motorized or electric scooter, please note that the Creekside Recreation Center and surrounding areas are not appropriate locations for riding. We have recently received a serious increase in reports related to unsafe and dangerous activity in and around the Rec Center and nearby streets.
This past weekend, Parker Police was called seven times because of problems surrounding these issues at the Rec Ctr. Included in this was what appeared to be an attempted break-in to the Rec Ctr building after hours. Police were called after a resident witnessed the incident.
We are working with SRC management as some of those involved have been identified as living at the South Range Crossings complex. There are also Stroh Ranch individuals who have been identified as part of these groups. Reminder, we have surveillance cameras all over the Rec Ctr property.
Residents are voicing concerns about their safety and are choosing not to come to the Rec Ctr anymore and not bringing their children to the playground. This is not acceptable. The following activities occurring at the Rec Center and surrounding areas:
• Speeding through the neighborhood.
• Hindering and blocking the flow of traffic.
• People walking or walking their dogs being chased off sidewalks and out of crosswalks. There are designated bicycle lanes, use them
• Rec Ctr parking lot access blocked by groups of riders and boarders.
• Vandalism.
• Racial slurs.
• Pot smoking.
• General rudeness toward other people.
• Destruction of turf and plantings.
• Fights.
Here is what is coming.
Parker Police and the Town Council are drafting ordinances to deal with these situations. Drones are likely to be deployed for enforcement efforts. There is also the possibility of these devices being seized if used outside the law.
We are actively working with local partners, including property management and law enforcement, to address these concerns. Our Community Patrol is also actively monitoring and documenting incidents in the area and may make contact or intervene as needed until Parker Police arrive on site.
Please note:
Parker Police should be contacted (303.841.9800) for any immediate safety concerns or to individuals not complying with posted rules or respecting District landscaping and property.
The HOA and our partners are going to strongly enforce covenants impacted by these actions. Vandalism, graffiti issues, and nuisance violations could result in enforceable fines. Legal options could also be pursued when physical damage to property occurs. Any damage to landscaping, turf, or other community property will be at the resident’s expense.
Please also be reminded that the Rec Center is subject to an active trespassing policy after 9:00 PM, which is enforced by Parker Police.
Stroh Ranch has long been a community built on respect and neighborly conduct. We ask all residents to work together to maintain a safe and welcoming environment for everyone.

Dear Stroh Ranch Board,
Thank you for the recent E-News alert regarding the increased safety concerns and illegal activity in our community. I am writing to formally document that my household has also been targeted by the ongoing disruptive behavior mentioned in your communication.
Whether intentional or random, we have experienced multiple incidents where individuals have run up to our home in the evenings to pound on the doors to harass the occupants before fleeing. Most significantly, an incident occurring between late September and early October of last year resulted in physical damage to our garage door. The damage was severe enough to require a full professional replacement. While a police report was filed at the time, the lack of immediate evidence prevented further action.
In response to these events, we have felt compelled to install a comprehensive Ring camera system to regain a sense of peace and security. I currently have video footage of a recent "ding-dong-ditch" incident that I am happy to share with the Board or Parker Police if it helps identify the individuals involved in the broader neighborhood issues. While my wife and I know simply ringing a bell and running away isn't a crime and thus a police report was not filled for this incident it was felt that it could be related or the same teenagers that have already been identified and may be of potential use or relevance
While we understand that "kids will be kids," the transition from neighborhood pranks to property destruction and harassment is disheartening. We appreciate the Board’s proactive stance and the increased partnership with law enforcement to ensure Stroh Ranch remains a safe environment for all residents.
Best regards,
