Due to lack of any attendance, I (Kelly) will not be attending the meeting scheduled for this evening. If anyone would like to continue with PMS please post your interest. However after two months with no members showing up, it appears that interest has waned in the club.

For Tuesday's meeting bring your "island beer" and either your "island food" or the recipe for your island food. What's an island beer/food you ask, well, it's the beer and food that you would want if you were stranded on a deserted island - nutritional and practicality concerns aside. Much like your favorite item, the distinction here being it should be something you would happily eat/drink day in and day out - be prepared to share why.

Ladies, we're going to discontinue the back and forth between Lone Tree and Elk Mountain and just stick with Elk Mountain. It got too confusing and our attendance dwindled. So, hopefully we will see a lot of you back for the next meeting on Tuesday April 17 at 7:00.

O.K Ladies time to get your Cajun on! We will be meeting at Lone Tree Brewing Company 8222 Park Meadows Drive 80124 at 7pm. Cajun food/spices and Lone Tree Brews are on tap for discussion. It is Fat Tuesday so come in for beads and fun!!!!

For the ladies who were not at the meeting last night, a decision was made to alternate between Lone Tree Brewing in (duh) Lone Tree and Elk Mountain. More information on the Lone Tree location will be posted closer to the meeting, but for the rest of the year the months will alternate. February: Lone Tree; March: Elk Mountain; April: Lone Tree; May: Elk Mountain, etc!

As promised, here is the bread recipe from last night: 3 cups self rising flour, 3 tbs sugar (white, brown, or a substitute), 12 oz bottle of beer (your choice!). Mix together until smooth and you have the batter. Then you can add whatever you like, cheese, orange zest, chocolate chips, nuts, spices, etc. Pour batter in a well greased loaf pan and bake on 350 for 1 hour.
