Ascend Academy Facilitation of Rehabilitation and Programming for Special Needs Populations:

Ascend Academy Specializes in offering the community a service in the facilitation of rehabilitation and programming for special needs populations. The program will be offered year round and includes, respite care, camps, facility use and rental, life skills programming, social skills programming, psychological and physical rehabilitation opportunities, and recreation through the use of animals, o

utdoors, and community outreach. Individuals who participate in services at Ascend Academy will progress towards being as independently functional as possible in today’s society, while enhancing and embracing their abilities. Ascend Academy provides residents of Douglas County and surrounding communities with a service that allows those with special needs to Ascend to the best of their abilities.

These strong beautiful girls have been through more than kids their age should, being the children of a parent who has cancer is a tough road. I am so happy that I can provide them a place to decompress, and forget their worries even if it is 1 hour at a time. My vision of Ascend Academy continues to grow one smile at a time.
