🌟 The 554 Foundation was honored to attend and sponsor the Summer Kidz and Heroes Event today! 🌟

A huge thank you to Ray Smart for organizing another incredible event that brings our community together. Having an indoor event during the summer heat was definitely a welcome change and made for a fantastic day for everyone involved!

Because of the generosity of our local heroes, community members, sponsors, and volunteers, we were able to raise $3,182 for our local Walmart’s Children’s Miracle Network campaign. ❤️

Walmart Parker - W Riverside Dr supports our community throughout the year, so it was truly rewarding to have the opportunity to give back and support the important work they do for Children’s Miracle Network.

Thank you to everyone who attended, donated, volunteered, and helped make this event such a success. We are continually reminded how fortunate we are to live in a community that shows up for one another time and time again!

👀OUT WITH THE OLD- IN WITH THE NEW👀

We’re getting things ready for FLOG 2026! 😎

After years of memories, laughs, and some serious swings, it’s time to retire some of the old bats and bring in a fresh lineup for next year’s tournament.

Don’t worry! We’re keeping the same FLOG spirit, just giving our players some upgraded equipment to make the experience even better. ⚾ ⛳️ 🔥

These bats have seen a lot of action, but we’re excited to put some new lumber in your hands for 2026.

Who’s ready to hear that first crack of the bat at FLOG 2026? 🙋‍♂️🙋‍♀️

🏌️‍♂️ FLOG Tournament Update! 🏌️‍♀️

Amanda has contacted all team captains for team names and shirt sizes. We are still missing information from 10 teams. Those teams will still be able to participate, but will NOT receive tournament shirts if shirt sizes are not submitted by June 19.

📢 Tee Flag Sponsors: June 19 is also the final day to purchase a tee flag sponsorship. If payment is not received by that date, your business will not be included in radio advertisements or have logos printed on tournament merchandise.

🍻 Important Reminder Regarding Alcohol: We received notification from the golf course that outside alcohol was brought onto the course during last year’s event. We want to be very clear: 554 Foundation is a nonprofit organization, and we will not jeopardize this fundraiser because tournament rules are not being followed.

Bringing outside alcohol onto the course creates a liability issue for the Foundation, the golf course, and their liquor license. Anyone found violating this rule will be asked to leave the event and may be removed from participation in future tournaments.

This tournament has become one of our favorite events each year, and we want to continue providing this opportunity for our community for years to come. Please help us by respecting the rules and supporting the golf course that graciously hosts us.

The 554 Foundation had the privilege of supplying $500 worth of craft supplies to the CRIT Education Department to help support their amazing programs for local youth.

When we returned to drop off the rest of the shipment, they invited us back to see the kids in action and they were already making slime with supplies from the first delivery! Seeing the kids so excited was a rewarding experience!

Can we take a moment to recognize the incredible staff who work tirelessly to keep these kids safe, engaged, and doing things they love? Not just during the summer, but all year long. Their dedication to creating positive opportunities for our youth is truly inspiring.

We are so grateful for connections like these in our community and for the chance to support organizations that make such a meaningful impact. ❤️

🚔🌟 FIRST RESPONDER OF THE QUARTER NOMINATIONS 🌟🚒🚑

The 554 Foundation is still accepting nominations for our Second Quarter First Responder of the Quarter Award!

Do you know a law enforcement officer, firefighter, dispatcher, EMT, paramedic, corrections officer, or other first responder who has gone above and beyond in service to their community? We want to hear their story.

This recognition honors those who demonstrate dedication, professionalism, compassion, leadership, and commitment to serving others. As a foundation established in memory of Sergeant Michael Rudd, we are especially looking for first responders who embody the qualities Mike lived every day with selfless service, integrity, humility, compassion, and a genuine commitment to making their community better. We want to recognize those who strive to serve others the way Mike did.

The 554 Foundation had the privilege of purchasing 30 soccer uniforms for Salome Consolidated Elementary School District #30 and we couldn’t be more grateful for the opportunity to support such an amazing community.

To our outlying communities: thank you for trusting us, welcoming us, and allowing us to be part of something meaningful for your students. Building these relationships means so much to us, and we look forward to making even more connections and continuing to support our local youth in the future. ⚽️🖤

Today we honor and remember the brave men and women who made the ultimate sacrifice for our country and our communities. Memorial Day is more than a long weekend … it’s a reminder that freedom comes at a cost carried by heroes and the families who love them. 🇺🇸

At the 554 Foundation, we carry Sergeant Michael Rudd’s legacy with us every day and stand beside all families forever changed by loss in service.

As you spend time with loved ones today, we encourage you to pause and remember those who never made it home.

The last thing we want as a foundation is for people, families, organizations, or services to fall through the cracks. 💙

We’ve done quite a bit of outreach throughout our communities, but unfortunately some contacts and resources may have slipped through the cracks or never made it back to us. We truly want to connect with as many first responders, youth programs, schools, mentors, and community services as possible so we can continue supporting those who need it most.

A huge thank you to Nancy Nichols with Camel Camp Coffeehouse for their incredibly generous $400 donation to the 554 Foundation! ❤️

Because of this donation, we will be able to purchase up to 26 hoodies for children during our winter coat drive this year. Acts of kindness like this make a real difference in our community, and we are so grateful for the support, generosity, and heart behind it.

Thank you for helping us keep others warm this winter! 🫶
