🎨 Thank you to all the families who joined us for our PAACE Family Paint Night!

We had such a great time painting together, sharing family conversation starters, laughing, smiling, and letting our creativity shine!

Tonight’s theme, “Painting Beyond the Pressure,” gave us the opportunity to talk about some important things during National Su***de Prevention Month, including listening to our bodies and minds, knowing that it’s okay to talk to someone when we’re struggling, and reaching out for additional support when we need it.

We’re so grateful to everyone who came out and made tonight so special! Thank you for creating, connecting, and spending time together as a family.

We are honored to host this once in a lifetime event with author and Holocaust Survivor : Dirk Van Leenen.

A bit about Dirk:
For years he used to tell stories about his experiences during the Second World War in Holland. His children and grandchildren always urged him to write a book about those difficult times. With Dirk's mother being Jewish, his parents were actively taking care of Jews. It is out of their stories, anecdotes, and Dirk's memories that this book has been written. Dirk has talked to many Holocaust survivors and has gathered stories which have never before been told.
