Saturday, October 31st from 2-3:30PM

Businesses, organizations, families, groups, and individuals are ALL welcome to participate by setting up a trunk and handing out treats and goodies!

Mark your calendars and help us make this a fun, safe afternoon for kids and families throughout our community! More details to come!

🎉 Calling All Community Members, Businesses & Organizations! 🎉

Be a part of the 2nd Annual Briggs Block Party on Thursday, July 30, from 5:00–8:00 PM in downtown Park River!

We’re looking for local businesses, organizations, clubs, and individuals to help make this year’s event bigger and better by:
🎪 Setting up a booth
🛍️ Selling products or handmade items
🎨 Hosting a fun activity or demonstration
🎈 Organizing a kids’ game or interactive experience
ℹ️ Sharing information about your business or organization

The evening will also feature:
🌽 The Farmers Market downtown
🍔 A community meal hosted by the Mayoral Park Committee (proceeds benefit the Mayoral Park development)
🎶 Live music by Ludan’s Echo
👨‍👩‍👧‍👦 A fun-filled evening for the whole family!

Whether you’re promoting your business, supporting your organization, or just want to help create a great community event, we’d love to have you join us!

🎉🇺🇸 Congratulations to Our 2026 Park River 4th of July Parade Float Contest Winners! 🇺🇸🎉

What an incredible display of creativity, patriotism, and community spirit! We were blown away by all of the amazing floats that helped make this year’s parade one to remember.

🏆 Congratulations to our winners:
🥇 1st Place: Happy Birthday America
🥈 2nd Place: Riverside Memorial
🥉 3rd Place: Pisek American Legion
⭐ 4th Place: PRA Aggies State Baseball Champions

Each winner will receive $250 in Park River Bucks, and our 1st Place Champion will also have their name engraved on the Park River Parade Float Traveling Trophy, with a photo of their float proudly displayed at the Park River City Office.

A very special thank you to the Alice Jorgenson Estate, through the generosity of Joel H. Hylden, for sponsoring this year’s prize money. Your generosity helped make this contest even more exciting and is a wonderful investment in our community and our Independence Day celebration. We are truly grateful for your support.

We’d also like to thank everyone who entered a float, volunteered, donated, and came out to celebrate with us. Your enthusiasm and community pride are what make Park River’s 4th of July one of the best traditions around.
