‼️CFBNJ Emergency Food Distribution for Bergen County SNAP Households and Furloughed Federal Employees‼️

Overpeck County Park, Leonia
In response to the Federal government shutdown and freeze of SNAP benefits, the County of Bergen, in partnership with the Community Food Bank of New Jersey, will be holding an emergency food distribution on Thursday, November 6th at Overpeck County Park for SNAP recipient households and furloughed Federal employees in Bergen County.
To be eligible to receive assistance at this distribution, the following verification must be provided:
Physical proof of Bergen County residency
AND
Valid SNAP/NJ Families First Card OR Federal Employee ID Card
Due to the limited allocation for this distribution, these eligibility guidelines will be strictly enforced.
Please enter Overpeck Park at 40 Fort Lee Road, Leonia, NJ where you will receive instructions related to registration and eligibility verification. Distribution of food will begin at approximately 10am in the Overpeck Park Amphiteater Parking Lot. This is a drive-thru distribution only, and you must have a car to participate. Do not attempt to enter Overpeck Park anywhere other than from 40 Fort Lee Road, as all other park entrances will be closed.
Supplies are extremely limited, so assistance will be provided on a first-come, first-served basis. For those that may arrive after this allocation has run out, information about other food assistance resources will be provided by the Bergen County Office of Food Security.
