The Object of Rotary is to encourage and foster the ideal of service as a basis of worthy enterprise and, in particular, to encourage and foster:

FIRST. The development of acquaintance as an opportunity for service;
SECOND. High ethical standards in business and professions; the recognition of the worthiness of all useful occupations; and the dignifying of each Rotarian's occupation as an oppor

tunity to serve society;
THIRD. The application of the ideal of service in each Rotarian's personal, business, and community life;
FOURTH. The advancement of international understanding, goodwill, and peace through a world fellowship of business and professional persons united in the ideal of service. Avenues of Service
Based on the Object of Rotary, the Avenues of Service are Rotary’s philosophical cornerstone and the foundation on which club activity is based:

Club Service focuses on strengthening fellowship and ensuring the effective functioning of the club. Vocational Service encourages Rotarians to serve others through their vocations and to practice high ethical standards. Community Service covers the projects and activities the club undertakes to improve life in its community. International Service encompasses actions taken to expand Rotary’s humanitarian reach around the globe and to promote world understanding and peace. New Generations Service recognizes the positive change implemented by youth and young adults through leadership development activities, service projects, and exchange programs. The Four-Way Test
The test, which has been translated into more than 100 languages, asks the following questions:

Of the things we think, say or do

Is it the TRUTH? Is it FAIR to all concerned? Will it build GOODWILL and BETTER FRIENDSHIPS? Will it be BENEFICIAL to all concerned?

This hot hazy Sunday in August we had 4 members , , , . . The opportunity to collaborate our efforts at Lehmann with Park Ridge Boro Green team, thanks to our member and councilman we had helping hands from Green team Chair ..
All the supplies of large potted plants, bags potting soil was generously donated to Rotary project by our friends at Park Ridge by owner . BIG THANK You !

Annual Rotary membership celebration of Rotary New year starts July 1st- June 30th which signals the new presidential & officers installation dinner. Outgoing Club President will pass batton to incoming president 2026-2027 , appointed officer of Secretary & Sgt of Arms- Anthony Rizzo surrounded by family & friends and full turnout of membership! In addition to presidential installation we expanded our club membership with induction of 2 new members eager to serve the community with a helping hand. New members are : & both sponsored by fellow Rotarian . Compliments to our Dinner MC as our dinner entertainer and keeping agenda on time ! Awards given walter D. Head for outstanding service given by out going President Steven Hopper to his wife Ann for being a trooper during a rough year. The Paul Harris Award given to longtime member Cindy Rose for outstanding service a very prestigious award. Great time had by all

On July 17th our club Welcomed and celebrated 2026 Senior High school Park Ridge Rotary scholarship recipients and their parents.. For an inspiring & heartfelt luncheon presenting by our Charity foundation Chair Linda Hanlon distributing of scholarship awards to six brilliant young scholars with a service above self attitude , all female recipients from either Park Ridge, Pascack hills, immaculate Heart High Schools .
Our foundation has been providing a means to higher education with scholarships to most deserving students for past 40 years. Thank you Linda & scholarship committee

Meghan Eddy Park Ridge High School - promoting healthy lifestyles for young adults, developing a sensory garden project for Autistic children
Addison Lein Pascack hills High School - gold star Girl scout project creating calming sensory Room for students & faculty. Schools lead for Unified club, New Jersey Special Olympics
Meghan Long achieved National Honor society scholarship.Receoved Women of Valor Award. A CCD teacher camp counselor & food bank volunteer
Kanishka Prasanna graduate of Pascack Hills, an officer of Interact club, awarded to attend RYLA rotary leadership program. Played big role in organizing for WalktoEndALZ. Strong athletic recognition
Rachael Yeung graduate of Pascack Hills. On exec.board of interact, & recipient of RYLA . National & Asian honor society. Earned Engineering & Inspiration award . Co-Finance lead Robotics First Robotics competition, received Robotics First Impact Award

Last Sunday the 14th at Montvale Street Fair our rotary club had their annual booth Shared with Interact Clubs of PRHS & PHHS student volunteers . This year we unfortunately didn't have our big Draw fundraiser The dunk tank ! We told students this year is your Show , do what you do best bringing joy with face painting, n tattoo's. One student took charge with his deep voice sounded as a radio announcer bringing families to our both. Two other students went up & down strip selling our wares & come to Rotary booth. We made $300. Big thank you to my rotary soulmate . Also big thanks to , , , PR interact Counselor
