Chapter 38 volunteers doing what they do.

An 89-year-old veteran who served in Vietnam from 1960 to 1964 got more than a ride the morning of June 27, when volunteer driver Rich Batcho of Nevis showed up in the Disabled American Veterans (DAV) van to transport him from his residence on Cotton Lake to a medical appointment.

What a very memorable and inspiring trip this morning to Gonvick Minnesota. We got to witness the Vietnam veterans traveling wall and talk to a lot of veterans. given the opportunity you should head out there this weekend it closes Sunday at noon.

Good morning! As spring turkey season approaches I have an opportunity to take one veteran on a turkey hunt, where I can almost guarantee if you can hit it a turkey. If you have a veteran in mind regardless of their disability we have cross bows, it is going to be wheelchair accessible and possibly heat it if we need it please get a hold of me.
