The fire ban for Cherokee County was lifted as of 3/2/26.

A reminder that the disposal of debris, leaves, and limbs on federal land is prohibited. The combined efforts of our community are necessary to ensure our park remains clean and safe.

Today was a very close call for the residents of Flintridge Park. Power lines sparked a fire in the Corps land that quickly spread up the hill. One member’s property was hit the hardest, but thankfully the local fire department responded quickly and helped contain it before it became much worse.

This is a reminder to everyone to make sure your property is well maintained and cleared of trash, leaves, and any debris buildup. In these dry conditions, a fire can start at any time — from a grill, cigarette, electric line, or campfire. It takes all of us doing our part to help protect our homes and community.

A big thank you to our local fire department for all they do. We truly appreciate their quick response and dedication.

While exiting the park onto the highway, that incline is pretty slick be careful .

Good morning neighbors we got a lot more snow this morning. I’ve been out making some paths with my truck throughout the park to indicate the roadways.

Be mindful of the water meters , gas meters rocks, and any other objects that may be near the road under snow. Please stay on the roadway to avoid at potential damage to your vehicle or personal property. If you do venture out, front wheel drive or four-wheel-drive would be best we did get quite a bit of sleet overnight, which is under the snow which has made it slick. Stay safe and stay warm.

Hello Members
Just a heads up, we're in for a winter storm starting Friday through Sunday. Temperatures will be below freezing, so batten down the hatches and check those garden hoses. Leave your faucet dripping both hot and cold and only venture out if you absolutely have to. We're expecting 8 to 12 inches of snow. Stay safe and warm.

Caution ⚠️ Heads up looks like they are paving the entrance to Whitetail, Flint Ridge and Elk Creek off the highway. It’s down to one lane so be cautious, pulling in and pulling out..
