Various squashes!

Just for everyone's information: the community garden that I envisioned as an open garden for anyone to access is no longer going to be. I built a native garden, a berry garden, and various plots that can be used for vegetables or flowers, but I had to move away recently. The majority of the Neola St garden is now managed by Yard N Farm, a local couple who most of you know from the farmers market. I know there has been hostility lately about people picking from their plot. I don't want anyone to 'steal' their veg, but I DO want people to use what is growing in the area I built. I know this is complicated and I can't be there to help keep things straight. I have a volunteer who has been awesome and sends me photos when he harvests and puts it on the picnic table. Please do not take this as an invitation to pick whatever you want from the whole plot.

Free produce Neola Street Community Garden on the picnic table at 324 Neola St. Kohlrabi, basket of collards and kale, and a couple rutabaga. Come get it before it gets hot and wilts! Please bring your own bag/container.

So that everyone knows-- ONLY WHAT IS ON THE PICNIC TABLE IS FREE TO TAKE!! Part of Neola Street community garden is managed by Yard n Farm and is a market garden and to the far right is a resident's personal garden. When you are facing the garden, everything to the left of the garden gate is off limits completely as is the strip to the far right.

Free produce on the picnic table.at Neola St Community garden 324 Neola St. Rutabaga, kale/collards, chocolate mint, lettuce, black raspberries, gooseberries, and mix-and-match bouquets. There's rubber bands if you want to take some flowers, or take a whole vase. Also gloves if you want to pick more raspberries. They are ripe when they are dark purple and easy to pull off.
The cabbage worms ate up the greens, so unfortunately there's really only enough for 1-2 servings
