CONNECT

CONNECT The People's Voice for Mental Health. If you or someone you know is struggling, call (435) 776-4357 or email [email protected] today.

CONNECT is a nonprofit organization based in Summit County that de-stigmatizes mental illness through community-wide educational programming and awareness campaigns, increases access to existing behavioral-health services, and advocates for funding for local behavioral-health services. CONNECT serves Wasatch Back community members by helping them access mental-health resources and services through

its mental-health resource line and signature Mental Health Resources Directory (available both online and in printed form, in English and Spanish). In addition, CONNECT supports community members through its Financial Assistance Program, which provides funds to help cover the cost of therapy. CONNECT curates free educational programming on timely mental-health topics, including its annual State of Mind Symposium each February and events throughout Mental Health Awareness Month each May. Because some of the staff, volunteers, and board members of CONNECT have themselves coped with mental-health issues or cared for someone who struggles with mental illness and/or substance-use disorder, they are committed to empathetically helping people find services for their specific mental-health needs and to promoting community mental wellbeing.
