Habitat for Humanity of Summit & Wasatch Counties, Utah Habitat brings people together to build homes, communities, and hope, and envisions a world where everyone has a decent place to live.

Habitat partners with qualified home buyers who help build their home and then purchase the home with a zero interest mortgage from Habitat. Mortgage dollars are channeled into a separate account, The Fund For Humanity, and used to help fund the next home build or rehab. Our "pay it forward" model provides a hand up to home ownership and to affordable housing repair, maintenance, and weatherization services for income qualified home owners.

Affordable housing isn’t just about having a roof over your head.

It’s about giving families the stability to build a future, put down roots, and stay connected to the communities where they live and work.

That’s the work we’re proud to do at Habitat SWC.

Who has the Habitat Homeownership Program helped?

A Park Record article by Toria Barnhart introduces us to five recent homeowners:

1️⃣ A mother of three who’s lived in Park City for over a decade.

2️⃣ A city planner commuting from Salt Lake City, his wife, and their 9-month-old daughter.

3️⃣ An excited couple hoping to create a lifetime of memories for their young family.

4️⃣ A diligent, hardworking Summit County employee and her son.

5️⃣ A family with a dream to stay in the community they’ve come to cherish.

Habitat has helped build 26 affordable homes in this community to support our local workforce.

A BIG thank you to the people helping make the Holiday Tree Show happen this year!

We’re so grateful to Pendry Park City for hosting us, and to Park City Board of Realtors, Mountainside Resort Foundation, America First Credit Union, Canyons Village Management Association, JAFFA Group, and the George S. and Dolores Doré Eccles Foundation for supporting this year’s event.

Thanks for helping us make the holidays a little more special - and supporting Habitat SWC along the way!

Thanks to generous community donations, deconstruction projects, hotel remodels, and other large donations, the Park City ReStore currently has an especially strong selection - from budget-friendly student pieces to higher-end finds.
